Company menu

You can arrange the left-hand menu to match how your company works: put the entries your team uses most at the top, collect related ones into your own groups, and hide the ones nobody needs. The layout applies to everyone in the company, on desktop and on mobile.

The menu only arranges what each person is already allowed to see. Placing an entry in the menu never gives anyone access to a page their role or plan does not include — they simply do not see it.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Platform → Modules and find the Company menu card.
2. Select Customize menu. The editor lists the menu in three parts: Main menu, Network and Bottom.
3. Change what you need:
   • Reorder — drag an entry by its handle, or use the up and down arrows on its row.
   • Group — select New group, give it a name, then move entries into it with Move to group… (or by dragging). Top level takes an entry back out of a group.
   • Rename a group — type the new name in the group's name field. The name is shown as typed in every language.
   • Remove a group — its entries move up one level; nothing is hidden or lost.
   • Hide — clear the Show checkbox on an entry. Hidden entries stay in the editor marked Hidden, so you can bring them back later.
4. Select Save menu. The new menu applies to everyone in the company.

Good to know

• Settings is always shown. It cannot be hidden, so an administrator can always get back to this screen.
• Restore default puts the standard menu back straight away for the whole company.
• When Linbis adds a new page, it appears with a New badge in its usual place. In the editor it is marked Not placed until you save the menu with it placed or hidden.
• If someone else saved the menu while you were editing, you are asked to Reload and see their version before saving yours.

Who can do this

Owners and administrators can customize the menu by default (the nav.customize permission). Other users see the result but not the Customize menu button.
